House in Muko by Fujiwaramuro Architects
Located on an almost equilateral triangular site with a crescent hypotenuse, the house strives to make use of the odd footprint with a rather different envelope strategy. The boundary lines are extruded vertically to define a single double-height space with a mezzanine level that makes up the entire living area. Thirteen large scale vertical louvers create a sectioned facade that looks south to let in daylight into the far extreme of the interior, changing views into and out from the house depending on the angle to the convex elevation.
